Moremi originates from the horizontal momentum of a large wooden plane, a continuous surface that moves through space with the natural presence of a primary element. The backrest emerges from the base as if growing from it, compact and rooted, recalling the silent formation of a desert rose. The cushions do not define the structure but rest freely upon it, like movable elements placed on an open and stable platform. The warm tones of wood and textiles evoke an earthy, archaic dimension, suggesting an essential and almost nomadic way of inhabiting space. Moremi is not a sofa in the conventional sense, but a horizontal presence conceived to accompany both landscape and experience.
